The label and the opinion

The label people give themselves does not always match what they think.

Datafolha measures it another way. Instead of asking for the label, it asks for opinions on several issues and builds the picture.

In June 2026, by this method, 44% of voters were on the right or center-right, 39% on the left or center-left and 17% in the center.

Four years earlier, by the same method, the left had 49% and the right, 34%. The picture changes.
